The basic voting membership with all rights and privileges including the quarterly WSGS Newsletter in electronic format and access to the Members-Only Website (if you provide WSGS with your e-mail address).

• Family -- $22.00

Two qualifying individuals residing at the same address. Together they receive access to the Members-Only Website (if an e-mail address is provided; one login per membership), one copy of the WSGS Newsletter in electronic format, and each has one vote.

• Youth -- $10.00

One individual under 25 years of age. Includes all voting rights and privileges, the quarterly WSGS Newsletter in electronic format, and access to the Members-Only Website (if you provide WSGS with your e-mail address).

• Affiliate -- $28.00

Any Wisconsin-based genealogical or historical membership society, or the like, may be granted affiliate membership upon application. Affiliated Societies will be entitled to the WSGS Newsletter in print, and to one vote. Additionally, they may identify themselves as, "An Affiliate of the Wisconsin State Genealogical Society," on their communications, publications, Website and advertising.

Affiliates of the Wisconsin State Genealogical Society receive the following benefits:

• A vote in the election of WSGS Board members.
• The WSGS Newsletter in print.
• One member of an Affiliated Society may attend WSGS conferences at the member rate, even if they are not a WSGS member.
• Publication of Affiliate events on the online WSGS Events Calendar by notifying the WSGS office of them.
• A link from the WSGS Affiliates web page to the Affiliate's website.
• Mention of the Society's name, address, and website address in the syllabus of each WSGS conference.
• One free quarter-page advertisement per year in the WSGS Newsletter.
  

(Please note that Affiliate Membership does not grant the Affiliate WSGS' tax exempt status.
Each organization must file for its own tax exempt status per IRS guidelines.)

• Institutional Newsletter Subscription -- $30.00

Libraries, archives, and other genealogical or historical societies not based in Wisconsin may subscribe to the WSGS Newsletter. This is a subscription only, not a membership, and therefore comes without membership or voting privileges.

• Surcharge for Print Newsletter -- $12.00
  

For those WSGS Individual and Family members who choose to continue receiving the quarterly Newsetter in print format, please include this surcharge to help defray printing and postage costs.

• First-Class Mail Delivery of Newsletter -- $12.00

Print newsletters are sent by Standard Rate Mail which will not be forwarded, so it is important that you notify the WSGS office promptly of any
mailing address change, even if temporary. There is a service fee for re-mailing any newsletter issue returned by the USPS which is
undeliverable as addressed. If you move frequently, please consider the 1st Class Mail option, which will allow newsletters to be forwarded without charge to WSGS. Electronic newsletter release notifications are sent via e-mail, so any change to your e-mail address should also be sent promptly to the WSGS office.
